KHCO₃ Contains not less than 99% colourless to transparent crystals or white granules or powder. Soluble in 2.8 parts of water, 2 parts of water at 500 C. Almost insoluble in alcohol.

Use : in banking powder efflorescent salt. To control powdery mildew in many crops.
